Building on the draft VicRoads Guidelines for Auditing Existing Shared Use Paths, GTA Consultants developed a user friendly manual to assist Council staff with assessing hazards, assigning risk ratings and being able to ascertain whether a treatment meets current industry standards. It required a review of current national shared path design standards and presenting in a manner that provides suitable guidance to ensure remedial or new treatments will comply with design standards or at least mitigate the risk.
