GTA is proud
to celebrate the success of the Gem at Waterline Place project with AV Jennings at the recent 2019 UDIA Victoria awards for excellence. The AV Jennings
development won the prize for the Best High-Density Development under 10 storeys.
GTA worked closely with AV Jennings and project architect Elenberg Fraser, to deliver efficient transport advice for the site as part of a broader redevelopment of an iconic precinct immediately adjacent to the waterfront in Williamstown.
The Waterline Place precinct will ultimately consist of 14 residential buildings and more than 500 dwellings. The Gem project will see in the order of 90 apartments delivered across 10 levels supported by basement and podium car parks. A healthy provision of bicycle parking for residents and visitors is proposed to ensure the development can respond to initiatives contained with the Council’s Strategic Bicycle Plan. Vehicle access to the Gem project will be provided via a lane way connecting to a proposed network of pedestrian friendly and green streets.
GTA would like to congratulate AV Jennings for this award and for the contribution of both developments to the community.
