Rhys Hazell is an experienced transport planner and engineer with a background that encompasses a range of transport planning projects across a broad cross-section of public and private sector clients.
Having first joined GTA in May 2010, Rhys is a leader in our Sydney office and brings a unique combination of technical and project management skills that ensure sustainable and practical transport outcomes for clients.
Christian Bodé is a well-versed transport planner with experience across Australia and the UK. A strong advocate of pedestrian and cyclist facilities, Christian has extensive experience in area and corridor projects prioritising non-car modes.
Since joining GTA in January 2018, Christian has brought valuable insight to the business and provided technical and project management skills across several active and public transport schemes as well as precinct planning activities.
Rhys and Christian’s promotions to Director recognise the combination of attributes that they bring to GTA in terms of their client service, their positions as highly regarded practitioners and their roles as team members and leaders.

As Directors of GTA, Rhys and Christian will continue to play a lead role in client service and project delivery while mentoring junior members of the practice and developing skills across GTA’s offices.
