GTA Consultants is delighted to welcome Associate Director James Phillips to our transport planning team in Brisbane.
James is a passionate transport planning professional with more than 10 years’ experience in Queensland’s public sector, having joined GTA from Queensland’s TransLink Division, part of the Department of Transport and Main Roads. James is a highly skilled transport planner combining experience as a principal network planner and manager of a technical team responsible for development and implementation of network design and operations for TransLink’ multimodal public transport system.
James has a strong track record of delivering high-profile projects across Queensland, working as a member of various project steering committees and as
the state technical lead for coordinating public transport service planning across Brisbane and the Greater Brisbane Networks.
Though his role, James has been influential in shaping several prominent projects, including Brisbane City Council's Metro Proposal, Queens Wharf Precinct Development, G20 Summit Public Transport Plan and the Bus and Rail Tunnel Plan.
